This large oil company, with operations spanning the Middle East, was looking to optimize the shipment of high-value, oversized cargo from Canada to Iraq. With a reputation for precision and a focus on safety, they could not afford delays or mishandling. Their leadership team turned to Falcon International to ensure flawless project execution and a partnership that could support their complex global operations.
The Challenges Faced& Overcame
Two major challenges emerged during this project:
- Documentation Responsibility & Legalization: Although Falcon handled the coordination and guidance of regulatory documentation, we were not responsible for final legalization. A reset in the process led to delays as the customer had to revisit earlier steps.
- Port & Vessel Miscommunication: The original vessel planned for Antwerp ended up routing through Rotterdam, due to a last-minute carrier-side availability issue. This change extended the transit time unexpectedly. Falcon managed the situation proactively, keeping all parties informed and working swiftly to minimize disruption.
Despite these issues, Falcon ensured seamless movement from Canada to the U.S., even amid tariff changes and geopolitical complexity.
